by creating this video you have cleared one of my biggest hurdle in writing app for any platform. Thank you. Please create more for symbian examples. I mean like simple but some real world example that would serve as jump start for new comers. Thanks again!


I was searching for that ~1.5 years ago and I did not found out how to make Carbide.C++ to work for my Symbian S60v3, bad, I left that idea because of that :(. Now I make applications for PC with C Builder and very simple applications for my mobile with Python. To late for me to go back on that idea :(.


@aliancemd I had exacly the same problem… and went for Python as well… with S60v5 i’m trying again just because i love Qt concept…. that with some luck PySide will allow to be used in Python ;p


Thanks for such detailed procedure! The only real issue i’m having now is to finish the download of all the files >_> …. around 1,5Gb of files… i think after install everything my hardrive will have be short in free space…
