Natural selection can drive a selective sweep that will also cause the other alleles in the haplotype to become more common in the population; this effect is called genetic hitchhiking.
When alleles cannot be separated by recombination such as in mammalian Y chromosomes, which pass intact from fathers to sons harmful mutations accumulate. By breaking up allele combinations, sexual reproduction allows the removal of harmful mutations and the retention of beneficial mutations.
Without the oil – I didn’t think that water was that clean. Look how Blue it is. I grew up on the Kill Van Kull in NJ – and the East River in NYC – and that water is like Green muck. And we used to swim in it. The water did leave you hair looking like you dipped your head in an oil-slick. And it would turn the teeth of my comb Black. All of those beach goers are going to be in for a real treat.
This is NOT “US oil spill” This IS BP Oil spill. Get it right.
In my lifetime the Gulf oil 911 is the biggest weapon of mass destruction that I ever witness, way beyond money and the Bull that the Federal government can clean it up. If the Federal Government did not exist the inside 911s would not happened.
America your under siege and being taken from the inside out ask questions demand answers start with the so called president. Wake up -separate from the Federal Union Unincorporated and become self supporting, independent its what America was built on

THE GULF OF OIL!
BP was being cheap and didn’t add a backup safety system that would close the leak and would have avoided this all together, even a million dollar safety is cheap considering what they could make off the oil. None the less it’s a US oil spill, we didn’t require that safety and BP didn’t add it (go figure). Now that spill will cost BP tons more and everyone else. Supposedly this system is used all over the world except here. Bad decision making on our part and BP.
@EdisunSolar ya well the problem with that is if you do ask questions and demand answers and the answers are not come far out there conspiracy theory or back up what you already think then you dont believe it.
stupid asshole Obama is trying to avoid talking about it, he doesn’t yet realize this is the 9/11 of this administration.
