Wow Bill Maher knocked it out the park on this one! Hill Harper made some great points too. If we dont face our environmental problems realistically like Maher and Harper said, our society will fail totally. Ignoring the problem is the path of fools.
i am from India and i am a very liberal person But climate change is only a plot to slow our economies down,Climate always changes,sea always rises and in due time may bring another ice age too!Just becoz we humans hv a expensive beach property does not mean the sea level must stop rising.! The SUVs did not end the ice age,they may be speeding it now but thats a risk we will take not to be treated as second class citizens becoz we r poor country! Its a plot to keep ppl poor so u can slow us!

Climates do change but over thousands of years! The changes we are seeing now are happening at a much faster rate. The scientific community is certain that Climate Change is a real thing. Greenhouse gases are changing the equilibrium of the planet and that is screwing everything up. Bigger storms, more droughts, more flooding etc. We need to stop bickering about whether this is happening or not and make a change. From what I saw, India has a lot of talent and a cheap pool of labour. You can position urselves to clean U.S. clocks when it comes to green tech. Alternatively, you have even more to lose should there be more climatic/social/economic instability.
